Where can microcement be used?
- Floors, walls and ceilings
- Bathrooms and showers - the material is suitable for wet areas
- Kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms
- Complex surfaces: columns, arches, corners, spheres
- Concealed doors, kitchen countertops, designer tables
- Floors with underfloor heating - water or electric
Advantages
- Seamless coverage and expressive optical effect
- High strength - for residential and commercial applications
- Wide range of colors, matte or glossy varnish
- Pleasant to the touch and easy to repair
- It can be applied to cement-sand and even wooden bases.
Floor application technology
- Preparing the screed. After the screed has dried, we fill and seal any cracks with polymer compounds and, if necessary, level it with leveling compound.
- Sanding the base.
- Application of microcement in several layers with the laying of a reinforcing mesh for strength.
- Varnish. For floors and wet areas – three coats.
There are fewer stages on the walls: no mesh is used, and there are fewer layers of varnish.
The main rule
Microcement is durable, but without a solid base, it won't last long. That's why we devote as much attention to surface preparation as to the application itself. Proper lighting reveals the coating's texture.
