Porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles are used for interior surfaces. Porcelain stoneware is a more durable material, resistant to abrasion, and virtually non-absorbent. It can be used for exterior applications, such as façade cladding, steps, outdoor areas, and pool areas. Porcelain stoneware is available in a wide range of colors and can be glossy or matte. Laying porcelain stoneware has its own unique challenges, primarily due to the material's format. Tiling porcelain stoneware is more complex and expensive due to its larger formats. The most popular format for laying porcelain stoneware is 60 x 120 cm, but this is not the limit. Porcelain stoneware slabs are also available in sizes of 160 x 320 cm. Therefore, the cost of laying porcelain stoneware depends on the slab's format and the surface geometry on which it is being laid. When laying porcelain tiles, specially designed adhesives are used, which also increases the cost of installation.

Ceramic tiles are more suitable for rooms with moderate humidity, as well as for wall cladding.

Our company, Yarylo Construction, performs all types of porcelain tile installation and tiling in various formats. We also prepare surfaces for tiling.

Porcelain tiles can also be installed over floors heated by underfloor heating, either hydronic or electric. In terms of heat transfer, porcelain tiles are an ideal material, transferring heat quickly while cooling slowly. It's important to remember that when laying tiles over underfloor heating, special flexible tile adhesives containing fiber and certain plasticizers should be used. These adhesives expand and contract with temperature, but remain strong.

Laying porcelain tiles allows for the creation of specific products, such as washbasins and shower trays. In other words, you can create a beautiful bathroom or shower interior.

Before starting tiling work, it is always necessary to carry out an accurate calculation of the required amount of material, while purchasing with a reserve.
